Upper Campaspe Landcare Network is proud and excited to bring you part two of our three part WEBINAR series – Biodiversity for your Bush Block.

Come join local science writer and ecologist, Tanya Loos ONLINE via ZOOM as she explores the wonders of living alongside the fauna on your bush-block.

We are incredibly fortunate that in this part of the world we share our land and even our houses with some wonderful wildlife. In this presentation, Tanya will share ways to make sure that your property is a haven for wildlife – including tips on creating habitat, and how to solve some tricky wildlife problems such as birds attacking windows.

As an ecologist and mad keen naturalist (her words) Tanya cites the likes of Gerald Durrell and David Attenborough as her biggest influences, as both a naturalist and a writer.

Tanya lives on a bush block near Daylesford with her husband, senior dog and many rescued parrots. Tanya has worked in natural resource management locally for many years, including Connecting Country, the UCLN, and for various councils. She currently works for BirdLife Australia, and writes a nature blog with accessible stories about our natural world, and advice on living in harmony with wildlife on her beautiful website Birds, bats, beetles and blossoms at https://tanyaloos.com/

Tanya is the author of the gorgeous book, Daylesford Nature Diary: six seasons in the foothill forests. This book is a collection of nature diary articles, set to a specially devised local calendar, and illustrated beautifully throughout by Anne Mason.
