Woodend Landcare is hosting a working bee from 9am until 12pm on Sunday 22nd of March.

The working bee will be held in the vicinity of Ruby Mckenzie Reserve in Tennyson Street, Woodend. Participants are asked to assemble in the reserve alongside the Landcare blue tool trailer. Briefing for tasks will commence at 9am so organisers request that you arrive a bit before then.

Tasks include whipper snipping around plant guards, woody weed control and the removal of a large seedling plum tree. A trailer would be handy if someone has one available. Some of the work areas are fairly rough so wear full length clothing, garden gloves, eye protection, sun protection and sturdy footwear and please bring secateurs if you own a pair.

Newcomers are very welcome and morning tea will be provided.
